“My 7 year old son has been working with Amy on rhythmic movement and reflex integration for several months. Amy is not just a licensed RMTi Consultant, she is so much more. She is open and thoughtful, educated and experienced, partnership and growth focused. My son loves her and cannot wait to work with her which is so important as this is a journey we are on, not a sprint. We highly recommend her!”

Can we talk about kids lives post pandemic?
It's different. If we were headed in a more sedentary and screen-centered direction before 2020, those tendencies have since become even more entrenched. Movement is not optional in human development. Movement is the spark that allows the brain to develop, via a finely layered and sequenced string of DNA-encoded reflexive movements. If you're interested in learning how to teach kids yoga and movement through a developmental lens, or you're a parent with a child who struggles physically or emotionally, contact me about teacher training, private sessions, or classes in school. "Looking back on the year 2020, the brightest silver lining for our family was getting to work with Amy. Our six-year-old son had been displaying a lot of behavioral issues, including refusing to participate in P.E. because it was too overwhelming. Amy used gentle yet focused movement therapy techniques to meet him where he was and improve his proprioception and coordination. She got him participating in yoga and balance exercises. Now, in first grade, he is actually DANCING. She has changed the trajectory of his life."
