19 hour training (17 in classroom and 2 out of classroom: 1 observation and 1 practice teaching).

Yoga for special needs children takes us deeper into developmental movement sequences and awareness of developmental movement patterns.
This is a lifelong journey that will not only help each of us to become more effective teachers, but to address our own continuing individual developmental journeys.
In this training we will delve into:
- General information on common special needs, such as Sensory Processing Disorder, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, musculoskeletal disorder, etc. and information on resources to learn about any condition/challenge.
- Approaches to yoga asanas, breath work, sound work, yoga nidra, meditation which can serve any student. A more focused exploration of the types of practices and how to choose well for your students.
- Meaningful work with a purpose, adjusted to the needs of the child
- With special guest speaker
